Testimony of one of the Doctors returning from Gaza

𝐃𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐦, neonatal specialist. She studied medicine in Ukraine & speaks 3 languages. She volunteered at Al Aqsa Hospital, visited homes and tents to examine and care about newborns for free. She finished her work yesterday and visited her friend. She was bombed by Israeli occupation forces while she was having lunch with her friend & was torn into pieces. Her body was identified through her hand!

Darkness, 2018

As Julia said, it was the most expressive artwork for her. It took only about 5 minutes to paint to have the result that she wanted. The idea was to reflect our social connection with each other.
